Walking tour of Odessa

Explore Odessa on foot on a private half-day walking tour. Start by traveling from the pier along the Potemkin Stairs, 192, to the city center. At the top, you will reach Primorsky Boulevard, a shady seaside promenade with a picturesque panorama of the Odessa Bay and a wealth of historical and architectural landmarks.

Cost from $50

Follow your guide to the western end of the boulevard, where the Vorontsov Palace is located. A short walk across the pedestrian bridge, called the “Mother-in-law’s Bridge,” will take you to the pedestrian part of the boulevard, better known as “A Piece of Old Odessa.”

Stroll down Gogol Street to the Tolstoy Palace and stroll through the gardens. Continue until you reach the recently renovated Catherine Square and stroll through the pleasant wooden City Garden. Continue along Deribasovskaya Street, Odessa’s central pedestrian street. With its many hotels, restaurants, cafes, and shops, it is the main commercial street and a popular place to stroll. Don’t miss Passage, a lavishly decorated shopping mall and hotel built in 1899 that boasts rows of Baroque sculptures.
